A single blood donation can save up to three lives, and on Wednesday, September 20th VFW Post 399 and American Legion Post 63 hosted our 39th Red Cross Blood Drive with over 50 donors. 4.5 million Americans need blood transfusions yearly and one in seven hospital patients will need blood. Our first Yacht Rock Friday at the VFW on Friday, September 22nd was a huge success with live DJ Matt Zako!   Stay tuned for future DJ date announcements and thank you all for your strong support….the DJ Matt Zako scene was terrific!

On Saturday morning, September 23rd, VFW Post 399, American Legion Post 63 and our Auxiliaries manned a table during the Westport Volunteer Fair in partnership with the Town of Westport, The Westport League of Women Voters, and The Westport Library!  We thank all our volunteers for joining us to activate community involvement and volunteerism in our community!
