Andy Gravish is one of the best trumpet players you will ever hear- period! He combines a passionate warmth with a blazing facility and a musical wit that always leaves one wanting to hear more. Andy regularly performs at the top jazz festivals around the world, and has been the featured soloist with the Village Vanguard Orchestra, the Toshiko Akiyoshi/Lew Tabackin Big Band, Paquito D’Rivera, and countless others. Sons of The American Legion (SAL) Squadron 63 in Westport proudly announces the election of Andrew Colabella as their 2024 Squadron Commander and Mark Shornick as Treasurer.  Stepping into this esteemed role, they not only are championing the values of the organization, but also honoring the legacy of their family military service.

“I am deeply honored to serve as the Commander for Squadron 63 and to carry forward the legacy of my grandfather’s service.  Through our collective efforts, we will continue to honor the sacrifices of those who have served and ensure that their contributions are never forgotten, said Colabella. “

The Sons of The American Legion Squadron 63 located at the VFW 465 Riverside Ave extends its heartfelt congratulations to Andrew Colabella and Mark Shornick.  We look forward to their inspirational leadership in the year ahead said, Phil Delgado, American Legion Post 63 Adjutant. All male descendants of U.S. Veterans who served honorably are eligible for SAL membership!
