VFW Post 399 is proud to announce its participation in the Town of Westport Veterans Day ceremony, scheduled for 11 am on Wednesday, November 11th at the Town Hall Auditorium. This event is a heartfelt tribute to all those who have served in the United States military.The program for the ceremony includes the Posting of the Colors by VFW Post 399, remarks by First Selectman Kevin Christie, Veterans Day Address by Staples High School senior, and placing of a memorial wreath by VFW/American Legion Auxiliary. Clergy will provide Invocation/Benediction and Honor Guard from the Westport Police Department will provide the ceremonial Rifle Salute.Following the ceremony, VFW Post 399 will host a FREE Veterans Day luncheon at their premises to honor veterans for their dedicated service, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment to our nation. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every veteran for their service.
