Tin Sandwich Band and friends were rocking throughout the evening playing classic Vietnam era songs during the inaugural VFW Post 399 R&B Jam!  The Open Mic concept has been tested and tried for many years in many venues.  Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening with friends and great classic music!

A highly regarded jazz pianist, Dave Kikoski emerged in New York jazz scene in 1980s and quickly established himself as a go-to performer working with top players like Roy Haynes, Bob Berg, Randy Brecker and many others. Kikoski is known for his adept post-bob style and spontaneous swinging play. As a leader, Kikoski has released 20 albums, including Presage with Eddie Gomez and Al Foster (1989) and Consequences featuring Jeff “Tain” Watts and Christian McBride (2015). His most recent two albums were released under High Note Records: Phoenix

Our 32nd straight monthly Red Cross Blood drive held at VFW Post 399 on Tuesday, February 21st had over 69 donors!  The American Red Cross is facing the worst blood shortage in over a decade. The dangerously low blood supply can affect our local hospitals. Donating blood products is essential to community health and the need for blood products is constant.
