Westport Parks and Recreation organized their annual Clean-up Westport Day on Saturday, April 24th. They asked VFW Post 399 to help and organize trash clean-up on Riverside Ave from MCA to Treadwell Ave. VFW Post 399 and Auxiliary superbly assembled an “All Hands“ working party to help clean-up the neighborhood. Our “All Hands” working party included the Norwalk Neighborhood Improvement team who provided the necessary equipment for everyone. Remember, we are committed to veterans, families of veterans, and the community in which we live. A special thanks to everyone who helped make the event a huge success!
The annual Joseph J. Clinton VFW Post 399 Westport Golf Tournament Fundraiser is happening on Monday, June 14th 2021 and we hope to see you there. The shotgun format starts at 8:00 AM on the course at Long Shore Golf Course in Westport. We are proud to announce the opening of the Connecticut Veteran Service Officer Satellite Office at VFW Post 399. The office will significantly improve regional veteran support for the growing needs of Fairfield County, the third largest veteran population (32, 562) in Connecticut! We’re committed to veterans, their families and the community in which we live. Their has been no shortage of community involvement over the last 100 years. VFW Post 399 is always the “hero village” for our veterans and community!
