VFW Post 399 is proud to announce its participation in the Town of Westport Veterans Day ceremony, scheduled for 11 am on Monday, November 11th at the Town Hall Auditorium. This event is a heartfelt tribute to all those who have served in the United States military.
The program for the ceremony includes the Posting of the Colors by VFW Post 399, Master of Ceremonies by Connecticut Veterans Hall of Fame inductee, Judge Edward Karazin, Jr. remarks by First Selectman Jen Tooker, a Veterans Day Address by Staples High School senior, Sandro Alderucci, placing of a memorial wreath by VFW Auxiliary. Rabbi Greg Wall will provide Invocation/Benediction and Honor Guard from the Westport Police Department will provide the ceremonial Rifle Salute.
Following the ceremony, VFW Post 399 will host a Veterans Day luncheon at their premises to honor veterans for their dedicated service, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment to our nation. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every veteran for their service.
