The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 399 and American Legion Post 63 welcomed veterans, their families, and members of the community to a special Spirit of America picnic on Sunday, June 28, celebrating the nation’s 250th birthday. America’s 250th Birthday reminds us of the sacrifices made throughout our nation’s history and the importance of the freedoms we enjoy today. “We were proud to share this milestone with our veterans, their families, and the entire community, said Phil Delgado, VFW Post 399 Quartermaster.”
VFW Post 399 and American Legion Post 63 thanks everyone who attended and all the volunteers whose support helped make the celebration a memorable success. Together, we proudly honored America’s past while looking forward to its future.
