VFW Post 399 recently completed a Game Room renovation project that membership hopes will both encourage veterans and guests to spend more time at the Post and make that time more enjoyable. The renovations started in April, completed in May and was unveiled prior to Memorial Day. A special thanks to Home Depot Foundation for their generosity in donating the drywall materials, Santos Interiors LLC for interior work/renovations donation, VFW Post 399 Life Member Tom Renzuella for expertly painting the room and VFW Post 399 Auxiliary Member, Dennis Rohrmoser for organizing construction logistics. We can’t to all, we can’t do it alone and without help we can’t do it at all!

On 2021 Memorial Day, the Joseph J. Clinton Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 399 honored the legacy of the men and women who served in our nation’s military, their families and those heroes who gave their lives for our nation. Following the Town of Westport parade, Tom Dubrosky, VFW Post 399, proudly presided over the Town of Westport Memorial Day Services and wreath laying ceremony held on Veteran’s Green across the street from Town Hall.
Our VFW Post 399 Auxiliary impressively volunteered essential workers to build the float to honor our veterans on Memorial Day. A.J. Penna and Son graciously provided the truck, trailer and driver for the parade float!
