Westport Animal Shelter Advocates (WASA) hosted a highly successful meet and greet with adoptable dogs at VFW Post 399 on Sunday, September 6th! All our pet lovers stopped by to meet and learn about WASA’s adoptable, locally-surrendered and abandoned dogs in need of forever homes.
Attendees bidded on a signed Aaron Judge baseball and enter a door prize drawing for Penny and Gus NY Yankee dogs. Also available–while supplies lasted were NY Yankee bear glasses.
The VFW grill was open for those who wish to “brunch with the pups”. The menu featured hot dogs, hamburgers and bacon-egg-and-cheese sandwiches.
